By downloading or using GTranslate, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What the app does
GTranslate provides offline-capable translation features, including typed text, camera-based text (Lens), voice input, and a two-sided dialogue mode, using on-device translation models (ML Kit) after you download language packs. Free use may include limits on certain modes (e.g. a number of successful translations in Lens, Voice, or Dialogue); GTranslate Pro removes those per-mode limits as described in the app.
2. Subscriptions and lifetime purchase
- Pro features are sold via Apple In-App Purchase. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation follow Apple’s App Store terms and your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Where offered, a lifetime purchase is a one-time fee for the Pro entitlement as implemented in this app version; it does not guarantee future features or compatibility with every future OS release.
- Offline language packs are separate from Pro: you manage downloads and storage in Library. Removing a pack may affect offline translation for that language.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app: no attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent payment, no use that violates law, and no use that infringes others’ rights. You are responsible for content you translate and how you use outputs.
4. Third-party technology
Translation and related on-device ML may rely on Google ML Kit and other Apple or third-party frameworks. Their terms and licenses apply to those components.
5. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”. Machine translation and speech recognition can be inaccurate. The developer does not warrant fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited.
6. Changes
These terms may be updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where allowed by law.
